About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Rehab Tech to join their team. This role involves working in a new, state-of-the-art hospital with advanced technology. The Rehab Tech will perform delegated multi-skilled services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant. This position contributes to the successful operation of the work area and adheres to all regulatory and company standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant performs delegated functions as a member of the rehabilitation team by providing multi-skilled services.
• Contributes to the successful operation of the work area.
• Functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and company standards, policies and procedures.
