About The Position
Carlton Shores Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Rehab Tech to join our wonderful team! We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) to join our dynamic rehab team. In this role, you will assist licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists in providing high-quality patient care. You’ll help support patient progress, maintain clean and organized therapy areas, and ensure equipment is ready for use.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA License.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans under direct supervision.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
- Escort and assist patients with mobility and positioning as needed.
- Monitor and report patient responses to therapy.
- Perform clerical duties including scheduling, documentation support, and inventory tracking.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in therapy areas.
- Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients during rehabilitation.
