Job SummaryFor Rehab Services: Assists the staff by preparing patients, equipment, and assisting treatments for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Aids in support of patient during therapy, the personal care of patients, and the cleaning and storing of equipment. Assists in guiding patients during ambulation, treatments, and rehabilitation exercises. For Cardiac Rehab Services: Assist the Nurses with ambulation of cardiac inpatients. Secondary functions include assisting Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Vascular staff with outpatient rehab exercise classes, programming, and operations.
