A Rehab Aide works under the supervision of the Clinic Coordinator, Office Manager and Director of Outpatient Therapy. A Rehab Aide will: Strive to exceed the customers’ expectations by demonstrating flexibility and sensitivity necessary to respond to the customers’ needs Possess strong attention to detail and own excellent communication skills Assist a licensed therapist in the provision of physical therapy, speech therapy, and/or occupational therapy treatments in accordance with state practice and professional guidelines Perform duties to maintain a safe and clean environment including wiping down equipment, preparing mat tables for next patient, and managing soiled linens Play a role in the clinic’s supply chain by stocking shelves, monitoring inventories and ordering supplies Perform a variety of administrative duties that supports front end staff as needed including answering phones and scheduling appointments Assist with new employee, student or volunteer training Function as a team member, required to be flexible in work assignments and at times may be asked to perform other duties as assigned Be available for rotating schedules including some light traveling to support all aligned rehab services facilities if needed
