About The Position

Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Rehab Technician to join our Inpatient Rehab. In this role, you will work closely with nurses and therapists to provide hands-on patient care while helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of direct, hands-on patient care experience is required.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for helping patients recover and regain independence.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nursing Assistant, Rehab Technician, or Therapy Technician is preferred.
• Successful completion of Methodist Rehabilitation's orientation and advanced Rehab Technician/Nursing Assistant training program is required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients arrive at therapy appointments safely and on time.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Toileting, Eating, Dressing and other personal care needs.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions and other areas as needed.
• Assist licensed nurses with delegated nursing procedures and functional rehabilitation activities within the scope of your training.
• Support rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in providing exceptional patient-centered care.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the rehabilitation team and patients.
