Requirements

• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
• Minimum Experience: Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience
• Licensure/Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (CPR)

Nice To Haves

• Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct technical patient care procedures throughout the entire span of life as directed by Occupational, Physical Therapy & Speech Language Pathology professional staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Sets up, monitors, and removes patients on modalities and equipment.
• Performs exercises, gait training, transfer training, activities of daily living, positioning, and vital signs.
• Assists with PMR physician clinics by rooming patients, assessing vitals, weight, and completing documentation in EPIC.
• Assists in ambulating patients with assistive devices such as crutches and with transfer/transport procedures.
