About The Position
This role is for a Rehab Tech in Pediatrics at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. The position is full-time, working Monday through Friday, within the Inpatient Rehab | Pediatrics department. The role focuses on assisting in the provision of rehabilitative services and supporting patient treatments.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of rehabilitative services.
- Assist with patient treatments as directed.
- Prepare treatment areas for therapy and maintains in safe and sanitary condition.
- Maintain equipment used in therapy interventions.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Complete non-clinical and clerical tasks as assigned.
