About The Position
Join our dedicated Rehabilitation Services team at Henry Ford Health's Warren campus, serving Macomb County's largest city. Centrally located along the Van Dyke corridor with easy access to Detroit and I-696, our Warren campus is a hub for providing exceptional rehabilitative care to a diverse, tight-knit community. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered therapy services, and we're looking for a Rehab Services Technician to help us maintain our high standards of care and safety. As a Rehab Services Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our therapy team by assisting with patient treatments, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Your work ensures a safe, sanitary, and efficient environment for our patients to receive the care they need, contributing directly to their recovery and well-being.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association accepted).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient treatments as directed by the therapy team.
- Prepare treatment areas to ensure they are safe and sanitary for patient use.
- Maintain and clean equipment used in therapy interventions.
- Manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available.
- Complete non-clinical and clerical tasks as assigned to support the therapy team.
