Rehab Services Aide
About The Position
The Rehab Services Aide assists therapists and management staff with patient care and department operations. The aide may be assigned tasks by occupational, physical, or speech therapists and may be asked to cover other outpatient clinics or locations. Responsibilities include assisting therapists with patient treatments, maintaining supplies, and keeping treatment areas and patient-care equipment clean. The aide also supports department operations, including answering phones, scheduling, and billing. Work may be assigned at any location, including weekends and holidays, with hours based on the operating hours of the specific location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists and management staff with patient care and department operations.
- Complete tasks assigned by occupational, physical, or speech therapists.
- Cover other outpatient clinics or locations as needed.
- Assist therapists with patient treatments.
- Maintain supplies and the cleanliness of treatment areas and patient-care equipment.
- Prepare and clean treatment areas.
- Participate in departmental meetings and in-services.
- Complete special department projects.
- Assist with operational tasks, including answering phones, scheduling, and billing.
- Work at any location, including weekends and holidays, according to that location’s hours of operation.
