About The Position

Orlando Health Children's Pavilion is a new, state-of-the-art facility designed to bring together over 30 pediatric specialties and services under one roof, fostering collaboration and enhancing the patient and family experience. Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children has a long-standing commitment to providing compassionate care to children, teenagers, and young adults. The Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation department, with its four outpatient sites, offers comprehensive rehabilitative services for children from birth to age 21. The team operates in a collaborative, fast-paced, and patient-centered environment, aiming to help children reach their full potential. The Rehab Service Aide will support this mission by assisting with daily treatments, patient transport, and maintaining the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

  • Under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor, under the direct supervision of staff therapists, assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains the clinic and office in a clean and well-organized fashion.
  • Assists in in-coming supplies and equipment.
  • Assists in the inventory of supplies, and prepares orders on a monthly basis.
  • Answers the phone and takes messages, photocopies material, files and performs general office duties and other duties as directed by the team leader.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
