This role is responsible for providing customer service within the Rehab Departments, ensuring efficient scheduling and maintenance of medical records. The position involves customer reception, insurance verification, referrals, order entry, procedure coordination, and scheduling. It plays a vital role in maintaining efficient schedules for the Rehab Clinical teams and ensuring timely telephone response using the Paragon Resource Scheduling application. The representative will also be responsible for obtaining and verifying physician orders, scanning them into the Horizon Patient Folder, and maintaining original scripts. Patient demographic information, including insurance, ordering physician, referral/authorization requirements, and patient/guarantor addresses, will be validated prior to service. Collaboration with Patient Financial Services is key to ensuring compliance and maximum reimbursement. The role also includes performing diverse tasks to maintain an efficient and organized office.
