The psychologist assistant supports the activities of the psychologist in providing psychological services to rehabilitation and neurological inpatients and outpatients. This includes administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests. Essential Functions Administer and score standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests for patients under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Document patient care under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Provide clinical support to licensed rehabilitation psychology staff. Assists in the provision of individual or group psychotherapy to neurological rehabilitation inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of licensed rehabilitation psychology staff. Provide excellent customer service when responding to patient/family requests. Demonstrate effective teamwork, prioritization, communication, and organization. Adhere to all appropriate standards of practice as outlined by the American Psychological Association, State Licensing Board, and other professionally relevant psychological bodies under the direction of the psychologist. Promote mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service standards.
