About The Position

The Clinical Rehab Liaison at Encompass Health cultivates referral relationships, manages an assigned territory, and completes patient assessments. This role is crucial in driving growth through patient referrals by cultivating strong referral relationships within a geographic territory. The liaison will develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. This career blends professional growth and a clinical license with a sense of connection to the community and patients served.

Requirements

• Current driver’s license in state where employed and acceptable driving record according to company policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or successful healthcare sales.
• CRRN certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow-up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about services and outcomes.
