About The Position

A full-time REHAB DIRECTOR position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Poughkeepsie, NY. This position is open to a PT/ OT / SLP-CCC. Here at The Pines at Poughkeepsie, we are a family of therapists with a vast array of experience. Nestled on the side of the Hudson River, our facility is home to both long-term care residents and subacute rehab patients. Requirements

• Be a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or SLP-CCC or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide therapy services as needed
