About The Position

A full-time REHAB DIRECTOR (Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Holden, MA. The facility is a 123-bed nursing facility providing long-term skilled care and short-term rehab services, newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment and mostly private accommodations. The building has three distinct neighborhoods: short stay, long term, and Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit, each with its own amenities. Preferred Therapy Solutions, the employer, is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on ethical patient care, and understands the needs of therapists for success and work-life balance.

Requirements

• Be a licensed physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, SLP-CCC or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• Candidate must have 3 years experience as a treating clinician.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide therapy services as needed
