About The Position

A full-time REHAB DIRECTOR position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Portland, ME. This position is open to a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA). Preferred Therapy Solutions is a therapy company owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. Requirements

Be a licensed PT/OT/PTA or COTA or license eligible in the state where employed
Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting

Nice To Haves

Experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department

Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and effective operations
Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
Provide therapy services as needed
