About The Position

A REHAB DIRECTOR/SPEECH THERAPIST (SLP) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Kennebunk, ME. Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation is a 78 bed skilled nursing facility located in Kennebunk, Maine. This newly renovated facility is conveniently located right off the Maine Turnpike, close to great restaurants and shopping centers and is less than a 15 min drive to the ocean! Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation is a busy and fast-paced facility, where you will be working with the geriatric population, treating both short-term and long-term care patients. We are looking for a new Rehab Director to lead the fantastic team already in place. Requirements

• Be a licensed speech therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide therapy services as needed
