About The Position

The Director of Rehabilitation is a clinical leader responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary therapy team, overseeing clinical quality, productivity, and compliance. This role involves managing caseloads, scheduling, staffing, and monitoring functional outcomes. The DOR collaborates with various teams to support census growth and care continuity, mentors clinical staff, and serves as the primary therapy liaison to building administration and corporate leadership. Requirements

Active clinical license in good standing — PT, OTR, PTA, COTA, or SLP
Clinical experience in a SNF setting
Strong clinical foundation with the ability to lead, develop, and retain a therapy team
Comfortable managing productivity, scheduling, and compliance alongside clinical responsibilities
Commitment to outcomes-driven, ethics-led care
A natural leader who builds culture, not just manages schedules

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT, OT, SLP, and therapy assistants
Oversee clinical quality, productivity, and compliance across your therapy department
Manage caseload, scheduling, and staffing in coordination with building leadership
Monitor and drive functional outcome performance including GG score tracking
Collaborate with admissions, nursing, and interdisciplinary care teams to support census growth and care continuity
Mentor clinical staff and foster a culture of excellence, autonomy, and patient-centered care
Serve as the primary therapy liaison to building administration and corporate leadership
