About The Position

This role is for a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) within an in-house, family-owned therapy organization, emphasizing patient care and team support over volume. The DOR will act as a clinical leader, responsible for overseeing the therapy department, managing a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Requirements

Active clinical license in good standing — PT, OTR, PTA, COTA, or SLP
Clinical experience in a SNF setting
Strong clinical foundation with the ability to lead, develop, and retain a therapy team
Comfortable managing productivity, scheduling, and compliance alongside clinical responsibilities
Commitment to outcomes-driven, ethics-led care
A natural leader who builds culture, not just manages schedules

Prior DOR experience a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT, OT, SLP, and therapy assistants
Oversee clinical quality, productivity, and compliance across your therapy department
Manage caseload, scheduling, and staffing in coordination with building leadership
Monitor and drive functional outcome performance including GG score tracking
Collaborate with admissions, nursing, and interdisciplinary care teams to support census growth and care continuity
Mentor clinical staff and foster a culture of excellence, autonomy, and patient-centered care
Serve as the primary therapy liaison to building administration and corporate leadership
