About The Position

We are seeking a rehabilitation assistant (RA) to support our M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center Rehab Clinics in Wyoming, Chisago and North Branch! This position is an excellent opportunity to gain operational experience if you are pursuing a career in rehabilitation, or if you have curiosity and want to learn more about the field. The RA is an essential team member supporting customer service and business operations. Through collaboration, we support the delivery of services to patients receiving outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, edema services and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. The rehabilitation assistant is responsible for assisting Rehab Services staff in any of the rehabilitation areas with assigned duties including transporting patients, maintenance activities, clerical work and assisting with patient care. This position will give you experience with a check-in desk, a call center for appointments, following up on insurance related questions or order requests, facilitating correspondence to medical professionals, handling queues for regulatory related forms, supporting supply management and cleaning department equipment.

Requirements

1 year medical office experience
Strong customer service skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
Flexibility to work various shifts and locations required

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent
1 year hospital or clinic front office experience with electronic scheduling, registration and Microsoft Office and Outlook
