About The Position

Assists with patient care, performs clerical functions and maintains and promotes a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of patient care. Strong interest in pursuing physical therapy or occupational therapy degree. Understands and satisfies the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regards to their growth and development process.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations at a level preferably acquired through completion of a high school education or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as push and pull when performing cleaning functions.

Nice To Haves

• Strong interest in pursuing physical therapy or occupational therapy degree.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care as directed by the clinician.
• Set up/clean-up of patient care area before/during or after patient treatment session
