Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley has tripled its capacity following a major expansion, now housing 171 beds to serve the growing community. The Rehab Technician is responsible for direct and indirect patient care duties under the direct supervision of a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, TR, or Speech Pathologist. Duties include direct patient contact activities and support services such as scheduling, filing, stocking supplies, tracking data, equipment maintenance, cleaning, treatment set-up and take-down. The Rehab Tech helps to ensure smooth and efficient treatment of patients under a therapist’s supervision, participates in program development, and enhances skills. Although this position is designated for a particular area/site, depending on patient needs and departmental circumstances, the associate may need to work in other areas.

Requirements

• High school or GED Required
• Previous OT and PT rehab tech experience in an IP and OP environment.
• Experience working with orthopedic, neurological and medical patients.
• Previous medical terminology or background education in related field.
