About The Position

The Rehab Aide assists with patient care services and departmental functioning in a designated department under the direction of a licensed therapist or assistant. This role maintains the department, the ordering and cleanliness of equipment, and keeps supplies stocked and ready for use. Recognizes and prevents environmental hazards from impacting the patient and clinic. Performs basic patient care tasks which may include proper use of exercise equipment, exercise and training technique under the direct supervision of clinician and reinforces therapy education. Contributes to the department safety and regulatory accreditation requirements. Observes patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes and pertinent data to clinical staff. Provides care in multiple clinical settings. Assists with orientation of volunteers and staff. Supports the operations of the front and back office. Performs other duties as assigned.
