Located in Port Jefferson, the St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital combines advanced clinical expertise with a longstanding commitment to compassionate care. Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Previous patient care experience preferred
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced department, organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of treatment space and equipment.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Correctly positions and prepares patients for treatments as required.
- Assists patients with ADL’s as needed
- Regularly cleans and organizes the treatment space, storage areas and equipment.
- Cleans patient care equipment after every patient use.
- Cleans all hot pack and cold pack machines
- Returns equipment to its proper place and cleans/ prepares treatment areas between patient uses
