Requirements
- Basic patient care tasks
- Proper use of exercise equipment
- Exercise and training technique under the direct supervision of clinician
- Reinforces therapy education
- Observes patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes and pertinent data to clinical staff
- Provides care in multiple clinical settings
- Assists with orientation of volunteers and staff
- Supports the operations of the front and back office
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient care services and departmental functioning in a designated department under the direction of a licensed therapist or assistant.
- Maintains the department, the ordering and cleanliness of equipment, and keeps supplies stocked and ready for use.
- Recognizes and prevents environmental hazards from impacting the patient and clinic.
- Performs basic patient care tasks which may include proper use of exercise equipment, exercise and training technique under the direct supervision of clinician and reinforces therapy education.
- Contributes to the department safety and regulatory accreditation requirements.
- Observes patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes and pertinent data to clinical staff.
- Provides care in multiple clinical settings.
- Assists with orientation of volunteers and staff.
- Supports the operations of the front and back office.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
