  • Basic patient care tasks
  • Proper use of exercise equipment
  • Exercise and training technique under the direct supervision of clinician
  • Reinforces therapy education
  • Observes patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes and pertinent data to clinical staff
  • Provides care in multiple clinical settings
  • Assists with orientation of volunteers and staff
  • Supports the operations of the front and back office

Responsibilities

  • Assists with patient care services and departmental functioning in a designated department under the direction of a licensed therapist or assistant.
  • Maintains the department, the ordering and cleanliness of equipment, and keeps supplies stocked and ready for use.
  • Recognizes and prevents environmental hazards from impacting the patient and clinic.
  • Performs basic patient care tasks which may include proper use of exercise equipment, exercise and training technique under the direct supervision of clinician and reinforces therapy education.
  • Contributes to the department safety and regulatory accreditation requirements.
  • Observes patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes and pertinent data to clinical staff.
  • Provides care in multiple clinical settings.
  • Assists with orientation of volunteers and staff.
  • Supports the operations of the front and back office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
