About The Position
Rehab Aide Position Overview: This is a part-time position located in Oak Lawn, IL, with a schedule of Monday-Friday and compensation of $15/hr. The role involves assisting therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and supporting center operations in an outpatient physical therapy setting. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification
- First aid certification
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
Responsibilities
- Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
- Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
- Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
- Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
