About The Position

Essentia's accomplished team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join their outpatient therapy team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation team and assisting patients during their recovery process. This is a part-time position, scheduled 24 hours per week, with an opportunity to pick up more. Scheduled Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

Requirements

• Previous health care related experience or education
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within one month of hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
• Assist in rooming patients for therapy sessions
• Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment before and after use
• Perform various appointment scheduling tasks
• Manage patient communication and customer service needs via phone and in-person
• Perform routine, non-clinical patient care tasks under therapist supervision
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure stock areas are clean and organized
• Greet patients and answer basic questions about treatments
• Collaborate with clinical staff to help coordinate care of patients
• Maintain equipment cleaning schedules
• Provide an extra set of hands for Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Physical Therapists (PTs) during therapy sessions
• Other duties as assigned
