About The Position
The Rehab Aide I is responsible for assisting the rehabilitation staff (PT, OT, SLP, Recreation Therapy, Clinical Nutrition) with a variety of duties to optimize our patient care activities. Shriners Portland is looking for a PRN Rehab Aide I to join our team!
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Rehab/Therapy
Responsibilities
- Ensures all equipment and supplies are organized, available and accessible. (including rehab storage areas, clinical notes)
- Assists with set-up of equipment, patient transportation, and basic routine therapy care under the supervision of a therapist.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple telephone calls, answering all calls promptly, speaking clearly, recording accurate messages.
- Greets patient, families, and visitors promptly.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Makes appropriate referrals for services and uses paging system effectively.
