To provide support to the rehabilitation service through both patient related and non patient related duties. The aide is competent in providing patient care as directed by the supervising therapist within the context of the clinical environment and training received. The aide's verbal/written communication is timely, complete and accurate, follows Sharp HealthCare guidelines. Documentation is co signed by the supervising therapist. The aide is cooperative and courteous to the customers and demonstrates appropriate awareness of age and cultural needs as part of Sharp HealthCare's commitment to customer satisfaction. The aide maintains the department and treatment areas in safe, clean and orderly fashion. The aide effectively completes clinical support duties as assigned. The aide identifies own needs for skills training and practice opportunities and demonstrates initiative in taking classes or attending programs related to work area. The aide promotes constructive working relationships and works effectively as a part of the team to facilitate its ability to meet its goals and objectives. The aide performs duties as necessary for efficient departmental functioning.
