The Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance (MQA) serves the public by licensing qualified health care providers, enforcing standards among licensees and facilities, and informing licensees and the public on matters related to providing safe health care to Floridians. The Bureau of Health Care Practitioner Regulation is specifically responsible for the policy making and programmatic activities related to licensure of health care practitioners and regulated facilities in the state of Florida. The Florida Board of Nursing is the largest of seven offices in the Bureau. The employee in this position reports to and assists the Regulatory Supervisor. This position is a professional position in which the employee functions independently, and as a team member, to process, evaluate and determine eligibility for licensure applications.
