About The Position
The Associate will support the preparation, maintenance, and submission of key regulatory reports, including TIC BC, BL1, BL2, BQ1, BQ2, BQ3, TIC D, FC1, FC2, FC3, SLT, SHL and FR 2420, and assist with reconciliations, controls, audits, and automation initiatives. This position will help ensure compliance with Federal Reserve and other regulatory requirements while strengthening controls and documentation within the reporting framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in regulatory reporting or related financial reporting roles
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. regulatory reporting concepts
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access
- Experience with financial data tools (e.g., SQL, Business Objects, Alteryx)
- Familiarity with regulatory systems such as AxiomSL or Reg Reporter
- Understanding of financial products (loans, securities, repos, derivatives, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports
- Perform and own daily balance calculations required for Federal Reserve reporting
- Reconcile reported balances to the general ledger and across regulatory schedules
- Maintain and enhance controls, documentation, and reporting procedures
- Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and external audits
- Assist with automation efforts and system enhancements, including Axiom
- Help define and document business requirements for regulatory report improvements
