The Regulatory Policy Manager leads CPS Energy’s regulatory policymaking engagement process before the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and facilitating participation in regulatory proceedings, ensuring CPS Energy’s positions are effectively represented and advanced. In partnership with business unit leadership and Legal Services, the Regulatory Policy Manager organizes the development and execution of regulatory policy strategy by proactively coordinating inputs from diverse teams, tracking progress against key milestones, and driving alignment to meet regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment. This includes maintaining a comprehensive regulatory tracking system, facilitating cross-functional engagement, and organizing internal processes to support timely and effective participation in PUC and FERC proceedings. Under the direction of the Director of Energy Market Policy, the Regulatory Policy Manager collaborates across the organization to shape policy direction on regional, state, and national energy market policy issues. This role involves developing structured workflows, improving internal coordination processes, and enhancing visibility into regulatory activities through clear reporting and communication.
