About The Position

We are seeking a Regulatory/Financial Reporting Representative to join our Institutional Banking Regulatory Operations Reporting team within WCIB Operations. In this highly visible role, you will help ensure the accurate and timely preparation, validation, and submission of regulatory filings that support key reporting obligations across multiple federal agencies. You'll collaborate with partners across Operations, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and business lines while helping drive data quality, reporting integrity, governance, and regulatory readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically five or more years of experience in regulatory compliance activities

Nice To Haves

  • Regulatory reporting experience within financial services, capital markets, securities, custody, or banking operations.
  • Knowledge of securities products, including bonds and related reporting requirements.
  • Some knowledge of government and regulatory laws and regulations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience interacting with regulators or supporting regulatory examinations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • SharePoint administration or site management experience.
  • Experience interpreting regulatory guidance and translating requirements into operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, validate, and support submission of regulatory reports and filings.
  • Gather and analyze WCIBO-related data used in bank-wide regulatory reporting processes.
  • Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies while maintaining strong data quality controls.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure reporting instructions and regulatory requirements are accurately applied.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries and support examinations and audit requests.
  • Maintain reporting documentation, procedures, evidence retention, and governance controls.
  • Support quarterly certification processes and reporting attestations.
  • Manage and maintain Regulatory Reporting SharePoint sites, shared mailboxes, access controls, and distribution groups.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements, training materials, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and help assess impacts to reporting requirements and business processes.
