About The Position

Eurofins Agroscience Regulatory (EAR) is seeking a Mid-Senior Regulatory Expert – Ecotoxicology to join their team. This role involves staying updated on regulatory scientific advances in Ecotoxicology and applying this knowledge to organize and prepare registration dossiers for plant protection products. The expert will oversee junior regulatory ecotoxicologists and be accountable for lower and higher-tier assessments. The position can be performed remotely or from one of Eurofins' European offices.

Requirements

Recognized expert in a specialized area of Regulatory Ecotoxicology.
Professional command of English.
Professional command of IUCLID.
Proven ability to independently define and conduct high-level regulatory research.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for ecotoxicology dossier section writing for active substances and formulated products dossiers.
Perform assessment of client ecotoxicological data, including data gap analysis and preliminary risk assessments, focusing on appropriate regulatory requirements.
Support the Section Leader and junior Regulatory Ecotoxicologists in preparing comprehensive technical reviews of data or reports for regulatory submissions, ensuring scientific rigor, accuracy, and clarity.
Support the Section Leader in developing strategies for dossier preparation and experimental programs according to European and national data requirements.
Organize experimental work, including requesting, quoting, monitoring, and time scheduling, both within and outside the Eurofins Agroscience Services Group.
Monitor standard lower and higher-tier, as well as non-standard studies.
Engage closely with Study Directors and maintain contact with laboratories and other relevant Regulatory groups during Study Monitoring.
Support clients with dossier stewardship post-submission and dossier defense.
Compile and maintain regulatory documentation and tools in collaboration with the Section Leader and Principal Scientist.
Organize all project-related activities concerning Ecotoxicology under the most recent regulatory legislation and scientific guidelines.
Closely follow latest developments in regulatory fields related to ecotoxicology that influence deliverable quality.
Identify, analyze, and propose ways to implement relevant guidance documents in regulatory documentation preparation.
Attend and actively participate in internal and external Ecotoxicology Conferences, seminars, and client meetings.
Support the production of Regulatory Science documentation (articles, posters, webinars, etc.) in Ecotoxicology for marketing/sales activities.
