About The Position

Healthy Kids Extended Day Programs is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to build and maintain practical systems for understanding, tracking, and meeting regulatory requirements across an organization operating in approximately 15 states. The role focuses particularly on ensuring that required medical and health documentation for enrolled children is complete and current, while also supporting licensing, employee compliance, audits, and regulatory updates. Childcare experience is not required; the organization will provide the opportunity to learn childcare-specific regulations. The manager will maintain state-by-state requirements, translate regulations into clear procedures, track records and deadlines, establish reminders and follow-up processes, and provide leaders with reports on compliance status and outstanding issues. The role also involves working with Registration, Operations, HR, Onboarding, Finance/Business Transformation, and other teams; coordinating with regulatory agencies when necessary; and helping new programs understand requirements before opening. The position will develop and use tools such as audit checklists, dashboards, databases, reports, standard operating procedures, corrective-action trackers, compliance guides, and automated reminders. The manager will conduct periodic audits, identify and address gaps, track corrective actions, monitor compliance metrics, and report significant issues to leadership. A key objective is to build a centralized, scalable compliance system that makes regulatory obligations visible, manageable, and repeatable, while reducing manual work and preventing problems before they arise. The role is based in person at 2 Summit Court, Fishkill, New York, and is full-time. The stated annual salary range is $55,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
