About The Position

Are you ready to move beyond rulebooks and checklists, and actually shape how sustainable agriculture is done around the world? At Suterra, we’re redefining how crops are protected through science-driven, environmentally responsible solutions. We are seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Analyst to support day-to-day regulatory and environmental compliance activities in a hands-on, in-office role. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to support compliance efforts, solve practical problems, and ensure our products and operations meet regulatory and environmental requirements. This isn’t a “paper-pushing” compliance role. You’ll be a trusted partner across Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams, translating complex regulations into practical, workable solutions that protect people, products, and the planet. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated by meaningful impact, this role gives you a seat at the table where science, sustainability, and global operations intersect. This position is based on-site at our Bend, Oregon headquarters, with periodic domestic and international travel, and reports directly to the Senior Director, Global Regulatory Affairs.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in regulatory, environmental compliance, EHS, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks (e.g., EPA, environmental compliance, permitting); hands-on experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Ability to follow established processes and apply regulatory requirements in day-to-day work
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through with minimal supervision
  • Interest in building a career in regulatory and environmental compliance

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory submissions, registrations, renewals, and documentation for products, ingredients, and manufacturing activities in collaboration with global teams
  • Maintain accurate regulatory records, permits, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations related to waste management, emissions, chemical handling, and required reporting
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries, including preparation and follow-up actions
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to embed compliance into processes, procedures, and product development
  • Monitor, interpret, and clearly communicate evolving regulatory and environmental requirements
  • Track regulatory changes and assess potential business impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Help develop training materials and educate employees on regulatory and environmental compliance expectations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance systems, reduce risk, and enhance sustainability performance
