About The Position

Independently manages the day-to-day administration of assigned regulatory change projects, including stakeholder follow-up, deliverable management, meeting facilitation, action item tracking, status reporting, and maintenance of project documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than five years of applicable experience
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
  • Advanced understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead assigned Regulatory Change Management (RCM) projects from initiation through closure, ensuring timely completion of project milestones and compliance obligations.
  • Partner with Business Lines, Risk Managers, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to assess regulatory impacts, define project requirements, and drive implementation activities.
  • Facilitate project governance activities, including kickoff meetings, gap review sessions, status meetings, working groups, and project closure reviews.
  • Coordinate the completion, review, and tracking of impact assessments, gap analyses, action plans, certifications, implementation evidence, and other required project deliverables.
  • Identify, document, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and delays, while working with stakeholders to develop and execute effective resolution strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates, presentations, and governance materials for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready project documentation and support continuous improvement efforts that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Regulatory Change Management program.
