Regulatory Assurance & Insights Specialist
About The Position
BaptistCare is seeking a highly capable Regulatory Assurance & Insights Specialist to join their Innovation & Quality team in a newly created national role. This position will maintain regulatory confidence, strengthen assurance activities, and drive sustained improvement across BaptistCare's services and corporate functions. The role involves driving enterprise-wide assurance, evaluating the effectiveness of improvement activities, and providing meaningful insights to strengthen governance, compliance, and consumer outcomes. The specialist will identify emerging risks, trends, and systemic opportunities in a complex regulatory environment, developing and utilizing evaluation frameworks to provide insight into organizational learning and improvement, and assurance to regulatory obligations and commitments.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in governance, compliance, risk, audit, quality, business, health, human services or a related discipline.
- Experience in assurance, compliance, audit, governance, quality improvement, risk management or regulatory oversight.
- Strong analytical and reporting capability, including dashboards, scorecards and executive reporting.
- Experience evaluating corrective actions, remediation programs or improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering positive organisational outcomes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience within aged care, disability, home care, community services or other regulated sectors will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and validating regulatory improvement actions and commitments.
- Conducting assurance and effectiveness reviews to assess sustainability and impact.
- Identifying emerging risks, trends and systemic improvement opportunities.
- Supporting organisational readiness for audits, reviews and regulatory engagement.
- Developing executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards and assurance reporting.
- Providing insights that strengthen compliance, governance and continuous improvement outcomes.
