About The Position

In this role you will collaborate with Regulatory Team in interpreting global regulations, assist internal & external stakeholders with regulatory compliance and support new product development and evaluation. This position requires a strong knowledge of Global Harmonized System (GHS), domestic and international chemical regulatory compliance, and experience in SDS & Label generation. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with regulatory compliance software and a working knowledge of Transport Classification Regulations (US and Canada) is desirable.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science in Chemistry, Biology, Occupational or Public Health and Safety, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
3+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, Product Compliance, or EHS
Ability to adapt to a fast-changing regulatory environment.
Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in typical Office software.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of paint or chemical processing is desirable.
Working knowledge of Transport Classification Regulations (US and Canada) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Generate Hazard Communication documents, preparing and reviewing Safety Data Sheet and Product Labels, ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance for paints and coatings in North America.
Monitor changes to regulatory requirements such as VOC regulations for US and Canada and sharing information with team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a regulatory perspective for ongoing and upcoming initiatives within the organization and represent Benjamin Moore in industry groups (ACA).
