This role partners closely with cross-functional teams—including Quality, CI&TS, Marketing, and Sales to identify regulatory risks, support product development, and maintain documentation that enables on-time product launches and compliant market access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, biology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a regulatory position in the food industry.
  • Proactive, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical regulatory requirements into actionable business decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English / French preferred
  • SAP experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support related to regional compliance with local legislation for raw materials and finished products - legislation compliance, labeling, legal data calculations, claim validation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to regional compliance and evaluation of customer standards.
  • Responsible for artwork review of labels in Canada and the US markets.
  • Participate in providing feedback and guidance to global teams as related to local legislation. Communicate potential risks, mitigation strategies and alternative solutions to internal stakeholders.
  • Raw Material review for compliance in Canada and US markets.
