About The Position

Under limited supervision, provides entry level regulatory and technical support to the international department by performing the following duties: Prepare technical documents for international product registration and shipments. Assist in creating and managing product information files. Review labels for compliance. Help set-up testing for international products. Perform scientific, regulatory, and technical research on dietary supplements, cosmetics, food, and manufacturing processes. Must be able to handle multiple projects and switch between all at a moment’s notice. Must have a positive, professional attitude and demeanor, and assist in improving internal processes utilized to serve the international department. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions within the department. Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in a scientific or technical field from a four-year college or university.
  • Ability to read and interpret scientific and technical journals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to respond to common scientific and regulatory inquiries and to effectively present information to the international department.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate product and chemical compositions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Detailed oriented.
