Regulations Exams Analyst
About The Position
American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is seeking a Regulations Analyst-Exams for its Compliance division. This role supports the administration and coordination of audit and exam processes, including document collection, data analysis, tracking, monitoring, and preparing responses to ensure AHFC meets compliance expectations from state and federal regulators. The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Capital Markets, Service Centers, and business domains to gather information, maintain examination records, support remediation tracking, and assist with process improvements to ensure adherence to consumer compliance laws, regulations, and internal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Six (6) years’ experience in a financial institution in a related industry
- Two (2) of those years working directly with audit and examinations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong legal research and legal analytical skills
- Experience working with legal counsel
- Proficient in MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

- Project planning or change management experience
Responsibilities
- Support state and federal examinations, and AHM audits
- Consistently maintain cutting edge knowledge of potential legal and regulatory changes
- Actively engage tools and resources to monitor, analyze, research, investigate, issues concerning the prioritization of AHFC compliance risk
- Maintain knowledge of AHFC business operations and compliance processes
- Support special projects as requested by management
- Maintain and support compliance-related inboxes and operational processes
