About The Position

DO & CO is hiring a Regulated Waste Autoclave Operator in Romulus. The role involves handling and transporting regulated waste, operating the waste burner machine, and ensuring regulated garbage is handled according to autoclave procedures. The operator must complete shift logs and comply with food safety, hygiene, and other applicable rules and regulations. This position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle and transport regulated waste.
• Haul trash and equipment brought to DO & CO facilities.
• Continuously operate the waste burner machine.
• Complete logs before and after each shift.
• Handle regulated garbage in accordance with autoclave procedures.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations in the food safety management system handbook.
• Comply with all applicable rules and regulations.
• Report food safety management system problems to the hygiene and food safety team.
