About The Position

This is a part-time position at Grand Prairie Elementary, working 2.5 hours per shift (AM) Monday through Friday for 9 months. The role involves assisting students academically and socially, requiring the ability to work independently and as a team member. The paraprofessional will need to communicate effectively with staff and students, understand child development, and be willing to learn basic curriculum application in small group settings. A strong understanding of child development and the ability to multi-task are essential.

Requirements

• One of the following State of Illinois Licenses registered in Will County: Paraprofessional Approval (PARA(STA)), Paraprofessional (ELS(PARA)), Substitute (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL)
• College transcripts with 60+ credit hours or have passed the WorkKeys Assessment submitted to obtain licensure/certification
