About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regs Assembler- 2nd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be able to adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined below: Gloves, Over the Elbow Sleeves, Safety Glasses, Ear plugs, Steel Toe, Metatarsal Guards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks across various work centers, including covers, pumps, basic assembly, single-pot assembly, two-pot assembly, all tap changer.
  • Build the product per work instructions and quality standards that are required in the assembly with use of calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.).
  • Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping department to ensure product is completed and shipped on time.
  • Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot any potential problems found in order to complete ratio test.
  • Move units by use of overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
  • Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective or require other needed changes.
  • Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments.
  • Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process.
  • Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
