About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. The Speech Language Pathologist conducts comprehensive speech/language and/or swallowing diagnostics at an advanced level and determines intervention programming to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, voice, and/or swallowing disorders to optimal level of functioning.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current IL state licensure as a SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC)
• Less than one year of previous job-related experience
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive speech/language and/or swallowing diagnostics at an advanced level.
• Determines intervention programming to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, voice, and/or swallowing disorders to optimal level of functioning.
