About The Position
This role is for an individual who is friendly, approachable, and enjoys helping people. The successful candidate will join the Registries team and assist members with registry and membership products and services. The ideal candidate is described as part detective, part problem-solver, part policy guru, and part community guide, taking the time to understand and anticipate member needs and find the right answers. AMA is a large organization with operations spanning automotive, registries, travel, and insurance, offering opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Current Police Information Check (PIC)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in sales or customer service
- Commitment to learning and growing in a supportive team environment
- Positive attitude and genuine desire to help people

- General Registry Skills Certification (Basic)
- Commissioner for Oaths (Registry-related business)
- Marriage Licence Commissioner
- AHW Certification

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service and relevant solutions to our members, promoting AMA products and services that meet their needs.
- Support call flow for general registries, corporate registries, and road tests.
- Complete registry, membership, and service transactions accurately, confidentially, and in a timely manner.
- Assess Alberta Health and Wellness applications with accuracy and care.
- Stay up to date on policies, procedures, and system updates to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Represent AMA with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to helping every member.
