About The Position

In this role, you will serve as the lead resource for the registration operation by overseeing registration workflows, ensuring accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information, and supporting staff across all office locations as a float resource. Plays a key role in the implementation and optimization of the organization’s electronic medical record system, including training, workflow development, and post-go-live support. Works collaboratively with Revenue Cycle, Operations, and Leadership to improve efficiency, enhance patient experience, and support overall financial performance. Promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of healthcare registration or front-end experience, preferably in a multi-specialty physician practice.
  • Experience with EMR and practice management systems required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or lead role experience preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for registration workflows, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of patient demographics, insurance verification, and authorization.
  • Audit registration processes to ensure compliance with payer requirements and organizational standards.
  • Provide float coverage across clinic locations to support staffing needs, PTO coverage, and high-volume periods.
  • Maintain proficiency in workflows across all divisions including ENT, Allergy, and ancillary services.
  • Participate in implementation of electronic medical record systems including system build, workflow design, and testing.
  • Serve as a super-user for registration functions within EMR systems.
  • Assist with development and delivery of staff training for EMR implementation and ongoing system updates.
  • Provide post-go-live support and identify opportunities for workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT, billing, and operational leadership to ensure seamless integration of front-end processes.
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing education to registration staff.
