About The Position
This role is responsible for performing both clinical and front-office registration duties to ensure smooth operation and high-quality patient care at the North Canyon Jerome Clinic. The Medical Assistant – Registration works directly with patients, providers, and other clinic staff to perform clinical tasks within the Idaho Scope of Practice, as well as registration, scheduling, and customer service duties.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Idaho, or eligible to obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
- Must hold and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with EHRs and Windows-based systems required.
- Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension
- Customer service and patient relations expertise.
- High level of professionalism and personal presentation.
- Ability to multitask and stay accurate in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
- Sound judgment, emotional resilience, and collaborative spirit.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of clerical, front desk, or medical office experience preferred.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
