About The Position
El Mirador Surgery Center is a fast paced, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. The Registration Coordinator interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls.
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment
- Ability to interface with patients and families, physicians and staff
- Proficiency in updating patient demographics/information in a system
- Experience collecting monies due and documenting in a billing system
- Experience handling funds per office procedure
- Ability to answer incoming phone calls
